Oracle Announces Partnership with Cohere for Generative AI Services

Oracle recently announced its plans to develop and provide native generative AI services in collaboration with Cohere, a leading AI platform for enterprise. The partnership aims to assist businesses in automating their end-to-end processes. “Only Oracle can offer a complete, end-to-end platform for generative AI,” said Clay Magouyrk, executive vice president, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. The objective is to help businesses solve their most complex challenges, from applications to infrastructure.

The Role of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure in AI Development

The generative AI services will be built on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and utilize Oracle’s unique Supercluster capabilities. Oracle’s partnership with Cohere will provide customers the means to embed generative AI into their business, using Cohere’s foundational models to deploy specific models that can help them experience immediate business benefits.
